Big lifts, new skills and a whole lot of co-ordination. C.CADDY recently joined Ben Garard from Benton at Rouge HQ in Ingleburn to get ready for Battle of the Ages 2026, and what a day it was!
With the creator himself behind Battle of the Ages, we had the opportunity to run through the upcoming events, meet some incredible people and get everyone prepared for what’s shaping up to be an exciting competition. Set inside the stunning Rouge HQ facility, the workshop was the perfect chance to connect with the community, talk training and introduce a few new skills ahead of competition day.

Event 3 | Powered by C.CADDY
We’re proud to be powering Event 3 at Battle of the Ages 2026, bringing co-ordination into the competition with a fun three-ball juggling tiebreaker.
While the main event is all about strength, technique and strategy, the C.CADDY component adds a different challenge, testing timing, hand-eye co-ordination and body control under pressure.
The challenge: Establish your max weight in five minutes
Athletes will have five minutes to establish their maximum weight for the following barbell complex:
-
1 Clean
-
2 Front Squats
-
3 Shoulder to Overhead
Athletes can complete as many attempts as they like within the five-minute window, adjusting their weights as needed. All six reps must be completed and confirmed by the judge for the lift to count.

With a mix of strength, technique and decision-making involved, athletes will need to plan their attempts carefully and make every second count.
The C.CADDY tiebreaker: 30-second max three-ball juggling
After the barbell complex, athletes will have 30 seconds to rest before taking on a 30-second three-ball juggling challenge.
Each ball thrown up and caught by the opposite hand counts as one rep, with three balls provided by C.CADDY in every lane. Athletes get one attempt, with judges recording their reps.
The juggling challenge is not a scored event. It’s simply a fun tiebreaker designed to bring a different skill into the mix and give athletes the chance to try something new.
And if you haven’t tried three-ball juggling before, now’s the perfect time to start practising!

Getting Competition Ready
One of the best parts of the day was getting everyone involved in the C.CADDY juggling challenge and running through a few tips to help athletes prepare for competition day.
Three-ball juggling is all about rhythm, timing, focus and consistency. It can feel tricky at first, but breaking the movement down, starting with the basics and building confidence through repetition can make a big difference.
It was great to see everyone giving it a go, having a laugh and stepping outside their usual training routines. After all, co-ordination isn't just about getting the movement right. It's about learning new skills, challenging yourself and having fun along the way.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat, got involved in the workshop and picked up a C.CADDY Co-ordination Kit. We loved being able to share what we're building and see the kit getting into more hands across the training community.

Catch C.CADDY at Battle of the Ages 2026
We're not stopping at the workshop! C.CADDY will be there on competition day as a vendor, ready to bring even more co-ordination, play and community spirit to the event.
Come and say hello, check out the C.CADDY Co-ordination Kit, have a game of handball or grab one of our camo hats. Whether you're an athlete, coach, spectator or simply curious about what we do, we'd love to meet you.

You can also get your hands on a kit and start exploring the drills and challenges designed to build the foundations of movement, from hand-eye co-ordination and reaction to balance, timing and body control.
A massive thank you to Ben Garrard from Benton, everyone involved in organising the workshop and the team at Rouge HQ for having us along. It was an awesome day spent with great people in an incredible facility, and we're excited to see everyone put their training to the test.

See you at Battle of the Ages 2026. Good luck with Event 3, and don't forget to practise your juggling! 🤹
